By default, the firewall allows the most commonly used programs to access
the Internet. However, if another program is detected trying to make an
external connection (to the Internet or a computer in the network, etc.),
you will be asked if you want to allow or deny the connection and several
options appear:
The following situations can arise:
If you completely trust the program, allow it to connect permanently. The warning will not be displayed again and the program can communicate externally whenever it needs to.
If the program is suspicious, do not allow it to connect to the Internet. You can deny the connection permanently.
If you are not sure, donÆt allow the connection.
You can also enable automatic assignment of permissions. When you do this, the firewall protection wonÆt ask you if you want to allow connections and will assign permissions automatically.
If you want to modify the permissions assigned through the pop-warning, you can do so from the firewall protection settings.
